Certificates of Incorporation

Apostilles on Cayman Islands Certificates of Incorporation can be obtained from a digital copy, which will be verified and notarized before being authenticated by the office of the Governor.

A Certificate of Incorporation is issued to the company upon incorporation in the Cayman Islands, confirming that the company was registered under the Cayman Islands Companies Law. Replacement or certified copies can be obtained by the company's Directors or Officers.

Certificates of Good Standing

A Certificate of Good Standing can be authenticated with an Apostille Stamp by supplying a digital copy of the certificate issued by the Registrar of Companies. This copy will be verified and notarized.

A Certificate of Good Standing confirms that the company is duly organised under the laws of the Cayman Islands and that it is in good standing for the current year in terms of annual filing obligations.

Certificates of good standing can be obtained by the Company's directors or officers and printed out from the company's corporate administrative portal.

Company Search Report

A Company Search Report is an online report confirming the current status of the Company in the Cayman Islands (Active, strike-off pending, struck-off or dissolved), but does not confirm that the company is in Good Standing.

The Search Report also includes basic details about the company, including:

  • Entity name and type (Limited Liability Company, Exempt Company etc.)
  • Date of registration
  • Address of registered office
  • Share capital
  • Business nature

We can obtain Search Reports for Cayman Islands companies for authentication with an Apostille stamp and for legalization at major embassies.

Other Cayman Islands company documents

Other documents and certificates for Cayman Islands companies can also be authenticated when issues as certified copies from the General Registry, including:

  • Memorandum of Association
    Company name, objectives and type, registered office, authorized capital, names, addresses and signature of the subscribers and the number of shares taken per subscriber.
  • Articles of Association
    Regulates the internal operations of the company, such as how meetings are called, powers of directors, and officers.
  • Certificate of Incumbency
    Confirms when the company was incorporated and current structure, registered office address and details of directors and shareholders.

Other documents issued by the company, such as Board Resolutions can be notarized (in most cases remotely) for authentication with an Apostille or for attestation by embassies of non-apostille countries (e.g. UAE, Qatar, Vietnam, Malaysia, Taiwan).
