Back to Questions

How do I know if I need a visa for where I am going?

Whether you need a visa depends on your nationality, which country you want to visit and the purpose and duration of your visit. Send us an email, or complete our Online Inquiry Form, and we will check for you.

Back to Questions

Do visa applications need to be made at an embassy?

Some countries allow visa applications to be made online (e-visas), otherwise applications must be submitted to an embassy or consulate representing the country you are travelling to – in some cases the application must be made at the embassy located in the country where you are officially resident or in the country of your nationality. However not all countries have embassies in every other country, so sometimes you will need to apply in an embassy located abroad. When applying from abroad, the assistance of a local agent is invaluable to ensure that applications are successful and securely handled.

Back to Questions

How can you assist me with obtaining a visa?

Isarey can assist in confirming what type of visa you need and in preparing your application form and supporting documents. We will personally submit your passport and application to the embassy where physical attendance by the applicant is not required and we can personally assist you at the embassy if you do need to attend; we’ll take care of fees, we’ll liaise with embassy staff throughout the process and we’ll collect your passport and visa from the embassy when it’s ready for return by secure courier or arrange delivery in person (e.g. at the airport).

Back to Questions

Do I need to attend the embassy in person?

Depending on the type of visa, some embassies require applicants to attend in person (for example, to provide biometric data) and in some cases appointments must be made in advance. In other cases, we can submit and collect the application on your behalf so that you don’t need to attend in person. However, it is always possible that the embassy will request a personal interview.

Back to Questions

How long does it take to obtain a visa?

Visa processing times vary depending on the embassy and the type of visa being applied for; in any case, it’s always a good idea to leave as much time as possible before you are due to travel to arrange your visa.

We provide urgent applications where embassies allow this option, and we’ll work to ensure that visa applications are processed as quickly as possible.

Back to Questions

Why use an agent to assist with my visa application?

Visa rules are complex and consulates can be very particular. A small error in your application, a missing document or non-compliant photograph could lead to your visa being delayed or your application being rejected altogether, usually with no refund of visa fees. A local visa agent offers local expertise and experience in dealing with consulates and ensuring that applications are submitted successfully. A local agent is also invaluable if any clarifications are needed, to liaise directly with the consulate staff, and applications submitted through a local agent are often faster.

We’ll also confirm the total cost of the process, including all fees and expenses. Once your order is confirmed we will assist in preparing the documents and will arrange a secure courier to deliver your application to our local agent.
