Certificates of Personal Data (Personattest) replace Birth and Baptism Certificates for persons not baptized by the Church of Denmark and are available to anyone whose birth was registered in Denmark. You can get the certificate in Danish or Danish/English.

Certificates of Personal Data confirm current civil information on a person's birth, name, marital status and death, including place of birth registration, names of parents, your present name, date of marriage and registering authority, last parish of residence if deceased.

Certificates of Personal Data always show most recently recorded information. If you need to document previously registered information, for example previous names, you will need an "Access to register".

If you have a MitID, you must order the Certificate of Personal Data online. The certificate can be delivered online or by post (paper certificate with physical stamp and signature). It can also be collected from your local registrar in Denmark.
If you do not have a MitID, the certificate can be ordered from the church office.
